Everett Clair Hackleman

	Everett Clair Hackleman, 80, De Soto, Mo., passed away Tuesday, August 17, 2004 at Jefferson Memorial Hospital.
	Mr. Hackleman had been an iron worker and was a member of Amvets of De Soto, Mo.
	He was born February 24, 1924 in Du Quoin, the son of Everett Conner and Henrietta Hackleman.
	Surviving are three sons, Alan (Debra) Hackleman of Red Bud, Kenneth (Barbara) Hackleman of De Soto, Mo. and John (Judy) Linda of Washington, Mo.; three daughters, Brenda Santel of Biloxi, Miss., Sherry (John) Brink of Fairview Heights and Fern (Walter) Robinson of St. Louis, Mo.; two sisters, Grace Short of Du Quoin and Norma Walker of Tampa, Fla.; 20 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
	He was preceded in death by his parents; son, Conner Hackleman; three brothers; five sisters and one grandchild.
	Funeral services were held at 1 p.m. Saturday, August 21 at Sunset Memorial Cemetery in Du Quoin.
	Visitation was Friday from 5 to 8 p.m. at Mahn Funeral Home in De Soto, Mo. (900 N. Main St.).
